Directions
  1. Before using Murray’s Beeswax, you’re going to want to wash your dreadlocks. Washing your locs will help to prevent build-up by removing any pre-existing product and oil in your hair. This step is extremely important for a thick product such as Murray’s Beeswax. If you skip this step, you’ll likely have build-up.
  2. After washing your hair, lightly dry it by patting it down with a towel (don’t rub the towel against your head). Your hair should still be wet to the touch.
  3. Use your finger to dip out a very small amount of the product and apply it to your roots or new growth and start re-twisting and/or styling your dreadlocks. If you’re doing starter locs instead of retwisting, apply the gel to all of your sectioned hair instead of just the root.
  4. Dry your hair. This can be done by sitting under a hair dryer, using a handheld blow dryer, or by letting your hair air dry. However, make sure your hair is dry before going to bed. Wet hair can lead to mold and mildew issues down.
